On 1 June 2023, Marleen Voss defended her research results on the topic of “Artificial Intelligence in Sales – Development of a Maturity Model”. As the result of a design science research concept, Ms. Voss developed a five-stage maturity model, which offers important input for AI research and can also help companies to establish AI in sales. The doctoral thesis was carried out at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Ruhr-University Bochum and supervised by Prof. Dr. Jens Pöppelbuß and Prof. Dr. Uta Wilkens.
