What have we achieved over the year? Where do we currently stand? What are our plans for the final project year 2024? To discuss these questions, the project partners from the Agro-Northwest experimental field met on November 30, 2023 for the annual meeting at the Agro-Technicum of Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. At the beginning of the meeting, the project partners presented the key findings of the almost past year in short, interactive specialist sessions on the topics of “Holistic practical integration of digital technologies”, “Interdisciplinary research” and “Training and further education”. This was followed by a presentation by Dr. Steffen Beerbaum from the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, who focused in particular on the impact of the experimental fields in Germany and the possibilities for extending the experimental fields. The event concluded with a panel discussion in which, with the participation of Dr. Saskia Hohagen, representatives from science, industry and practice engaged in a lively debate on the findings to date and the questions that remain unanswered. On the IAW side, Prof. Dr. Uta Wilkens, Dr. Saskia Hohagen and Niklas Obermann took part in the annual meeting and were enthusiastic about the varied program and the many opportunities to engage in a targeted exchange with other project partners.
