On January 23, 2025, Daniel Lupp successfully completed his cumulative dissertation entitled “Value co-creation with AI: An agency perspective on entrepreneurial decision-making”. In his international specialist articles, he analyzes the impact of AI use on entrepreneurial decision-making and operational value creation. Daniel Lupp shows:
- Machine learning can support entrepreneurs in their decision-making logic, but can also influence it in the medium term. The specialist article in the Journal of Business Venturing Insights can be found at https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jbvi.2022.e00355.
- The way in which AI is used to create value depends on the individual entrepreneur’s perceived possibilities for AI action.
- The actor character of AI has an impact on who in the value creation process generates the concrete benefit from the use of technology.
The second and third articles are currently under review by renowned journals and will subsequently be available to the interested public.
