That was our last Ideas Lab 2024!
The almost 50 participants at the transfer event received valuable input from experts in the field of artificial intelligence as well as a platform for targeted exchange and networking.
The exciting keynote speech by Tobias Nadjib, Managing Director of Volkswagen Infotainment, on the topic of “AI as a miracle tool: dialog, opportunities and responsibility in the AI code” vividly contrasted the bright and dark sides of AI use and showed how his company is implementing a responsibly negotiated AI code in the field of AI-human cooperation.
In the presentation “Responsibly into the future: AI introduction in the laundry 4.0”, the team from the Arbeitswelt.plus competence center highlighted the challenges and areas of tension in the introduction of AI at Herbert Kannegiesser GmbH. The speakers Dr. Mathias Wöhler (Herbert Kannegiesser GmbH), Nico Rabethge (Bielefeld University) and Oliver Dietrich (IG Metall North Rhine-Westphalia) made it tangible how a responsible establishment of AI-based technology can succeed.
Afterwards, the marketplace offered the opportunity to obtain more detailed information and seek personal exchange at the stands of the HUMAINE and Arbeitswelt.plus competence centers, the RUB/IGM Joint Center and the ZESS research building.
