With the 70th Gfa Spring Congress, the Gesellschaft für Arbeitswissenschaft e.V. (Society for Ergonomics) invited participants to the university campus in Stuttgart-Vaihingen under the motto “Ergonomics in-the-loop: human-technology integration and its impact on people, work and work design”. The Chair of Work, Human Resources and Leadership was represented at the GfA with a total of four presentations. Dr. Valentin Langholf kicked things off with his presentation on “Role development in the introduction of digital services and artificial intelligence – testing a role development concept in a mechanical engineering company”, in which he discussed the findings from the pilot project with the practice partner SEEPEX from the work of the HUMAINE Competence Centre. In the afternoon, Niklas Obermann first presented the evaluation of AI declarations of DAX40 companies under the title “AI declarations of DAX corporations: Do they mirror human-centered AI usage?” and then followed up with his contribution on the topic of team resilience (“Requirement criteria for the development of team resilience in simulation environments”). To conclude the conference, Dr. Saskia Hohagen presented current study results on work evaluation in agriculture in her lecture entitled “Work evaluation in agriculture – Status quo analysis and future research agenda”. In combination with the supporting program, the researchers were able to make new contacts and take away further suggestions.
