We are pleased to announce the publication of the new paper by Dr. Saskia Hohagen and Prof. Dr. Uta Wilkens at IFAMR. In the publication entitled “How to measure digital maturity in agriculture? Conceptual outline, instrument development and measurement results from German farms”, we focus on the development of a maturity model to analyze the digital maturity of farms. This model is based on nine different dimensions and can be used as a diagnostic tool in the context of strategic corporate management. The study originated from the BMEL-funded Agro-Nordwest project, in which 123 farmers from Germany took part. The results show that the digital maturity of the farms is well advanced with regard to the dimensions of technology and people, while organizational dimensions are less pronounced.
