The fourth and final workshop in the “Agricultural consulting in transition” workshop series took place on June 5. Dr. Saskia Hohagen and Niklas Obermann opened the joint exchange platform for agricultural advisors at 2 pm. Once again, there was an intensive exchange between the participants. There was a particular focus on the heterogeneity of agricultural businesses and the challenges this poses for advisory services. In agriculture, very individual solutions often have to be found that are closely linked to the framework conditions of the farms. In many cases, a generally applicable, overarching solution falls short. Nevertheless, the participants emphasized the importance of exchanging individual experiences, even across state borders.
At the end of the fourth workshop, the researchers can look back on two on-site and two digital formats in which different thematic focuses emerged. The researchers were particularly pleased with the intensive exchange and the openness of the participants to contribute their own experiences to the workshops.
