As part of the second run of the seminar „Collaboration in B2B value networks – use of laboratory experience for transfer to practice partners“, in cooperation with the incubator Start4Chem, the practical exchange took place on 9th December 2020.

The invited experts Dr. Denise Schütz, VCI advisor for European research policy, university-based education policy, higher education policy, technology transfer and start-ups, and Dr. Jelena Stojadinovic, founder of the start-up Membrasenz, which specialises in the development, production and commercialisation of gas separation membranes, spoke about the opportunities and hurdles of successful collaborations between start-ups and large companies and their impressions from the chemical industry and start-up world. 28 students from the fields of economics, educational science and chemistry/biochemistry had the chance to pose many interesting questions and profit from first-hand experience through the exchange.

We would like to thank Dr. Denise Schütz and Dr. Jelena Stojadinovic for their participation and the interesting impressions, Start4Chem for the cooperation and all participants for this great exchange format and are looking forward to upcoming events in future.
