During her research semester, Prof. Dr. Uta Wilkens makes stops at selected international research partners. In May, she was visiting the University of York and interacting with colleagues from Computer Science, Humanities, Philosophy & Sociology.<\/p>\n

She gave the following talk at the invitation of the Department of Computer Science:<\/p>\n

This was followed in June and July by a guest residency at the ATLAS Institute, CU Boulder, Colorado. This was connected among other things with a lecture:<\/p>\n

Participating in the conference: “How Does AI Change Higher Education?” in Denver,July 13, 2023.<\/p>\n

and participating in the USTTI course on the information and telecommunications industry as a panelist (round table). The participants came from different African and South American countries as well as Central Asia and had been sent by their respective national governments. Feedback from participants highlighted the particular interest in the topics brought forward on reliability and human-centered use of AI.<\/p>\n
