The practical week in the module “Twin Transformation – Management and Governance of Digitalization and Sustainability” took place from 17.11 to 20.11.2025 together with Niggemeyer pro imaging in Bochum. Niggemeyer is a medium-sized printing company for large-format image production. During the practical week, 17 students on the Management & Economics and Organizational Management Master’s degree courses developed a concept for the sustainable and economical use of the textiles that the company prints. The core of the development was a concept for the establishment of a company network with a digital platform that can orchestrate and support the efficient collection of textile waste from customers and chemical recycling at a disposal company across company boundaries. The results were received with great interest by Managing Director Roland Niggemeyer. The student team and the module lecturers Dr. Valentin Langholf and Frederik Becker are delighted with the exciting insight and the very successful cooperation.
